Djokovic has reiterated that he does not know what the future holds and that he will try to enjoy his time as much as possible
“Every match I play here this week is a gift, both for me and for people who will be there to watch me play. In that context, this week is a special week. My approach to the tournament will be different and although I naturally want to win every match, I also want to enjoy all the moments outside the tennis court, the exchange and communication with other people. I’ve already experienced some of it since I arrived here. I hope the weather will get better and I would like to see even more people here and we should all celebrate Easter holidays and sports in general together,” the best Serbian player and also the best tennis player in the world Novak Djokovic told the media.
However, Djokovic did not want to talk much regarding his plans for the continuation of the tennis season.
“For the time being I’m not thinking about anything else except Banjaluka. I want to enjoy my time here. I’ve been a tennis player for 20 years and I’m a bit tired talking about future plans, next steps etc. As you get older, you get to appreciate staying in the moment more. That is why I don’t want to talk about the continuation of the season this week. Everyone knows my biggest goals. I will focus all my energy on this week.”
