The young Slovak has been training with Marian Vajda, former
Novak Djokovic’s coach. He only has great things to say about
their collaboration. He commented on several segments of their
collaboration and underlined the importance of trust for
everything to function well.
“Marian Vajda is a great individual, great professional, good
coach and a good person. We don’t only talk about tennis but
about other important things in life as well. I trust him
100%. I’m very grateful to him for everything that he has done
for me. To him and to the entire team. We work hard on
everything I need to improve on a daily basis. We respect each
other and I enjoy my training sessions with him. Hopefully,
we’ll achieve great results together”.
In his answer to the question whether great coaches are a
guarantee of great results, Molcan had a ready answer:
"Tennis coach is very important but it doesn’t mean that a
player he’s working with is destined to become one of top 10
players in the world. Every tennis player is a different
story, both as a person and as a player. It’s not easy to
harmonize everything. However, Marian is a real professional
and showed me how and what I should do to be better. He showed
me what professionalism means. I listen to him and I trust him
and I like to work with him”.
