Godparent to Medvedev’s daughter

Before winning the Monte Carlo Masters, Andrey Rublev had the honour to be a godparent at the
baptism of Daniil Medvedev’s daughter in a Russian Orthodox church.
"I didn’t expect that. They didn’t explain me all my responsibilities. First I accepted and then I realised all
the things I have to do! I was a godparent at the baptism of my friend Daniil Medvedev’s daughter
before Monte Carlo. It was a really nice ceremony. Honestly, I didn’t know that it entailed so much
responsibility. Daniil is one of my best friends. We’ve know each other since we were six. He is a good
father. It was a privilege to baptise his daughter. I felt really good”.
