Belgrade tournament changed my career

Alex Molcan competed at the tournament in Belgrade as well and
only has positive things to say about the tournament. In 2021,
he won his first ATP points after the qualifying rounds.
“I used to play the quarter-finals, the semi-finals of
Challenger tournaments and I became more confident after
Belgrade. Definitely, that tournament turned my tennis career
around. I started believing in myself. Since I started
believing in myself, I’ve been successful at almost every
tournament. I was ranked around 180 at the Belgrade
tournament, I had a lot of work to do to enter Top 100 players
and then we had the coronavirus pandemic and I had to fight

for many points. I needed 700 points that year to become one
of Top 100 tennis players in the world. I gained confidence
after that tournament and it definitely turned my career
around”, Molcan concluded.
