Jamie Murray, Andy Murray’s brother, is competing in the doubles competition in Banaluka with New Zealand’s Michael Venus. Murray and Venus are the top seeds at the tournament.
Although the tennis complex is full of spectators from the early morning hours, the multiple GS winner in the doubles competition did not mind the crowds to step onto the Centre Court and practice.
Murray has been practicing with earbuds, listening to music, at the plateau in front the area envisaged for tennis players. Spectators were seen entering the tennis complex to watch the match between Laslo Djere and Borna Coric but Murray remained focused on his practice session.
Citizens of Banjaluka recognised the Scot, the older Murray brother. Jamie Murray is remembered by tennis fans in Serbia for his Wimbledon title in the mixed doubles with Jelena Jankovic.
