Lajovic also remembered his first time in Banjaluka, namely a Challenger tournament he won in 2015. He did not miss the chance to praise famous chevapi from Banjaluka he remembers well.
“I remember I lost a match in the qualifying round in Banjaluka in 2009 and that I won a Challenger in 2015. I was staying at Hotel Bosna and ate chevapi. I still didn’t get a chance to try them again”, Lajovic said with a smile.
He has also reiterated that the tennis complex in Banjaluka now is different from the tennis complex during the Challenger.
“In terms of the tennis complex, it’s even better now. There is a large stadium here now. Everything is very beautiful. I feel at home because I’m really close to home”.
