Changes in Laslo Djere’s style are visible and Djere discussed them before. He is trying to finish his points more quickly and he’s been working a lot on that.
“I’m still trying to finish a point at the net whenever I have a chance. However, it’s not something I’ll try to force too many times like I did in the past, to have the opponent fighting back, sliding from one side of the tennis court to the other and hitting slices when I could hit back much earlier at the net. I’m working on that, and sometimes I succeed and sometimes I don’t. I’m mostly focused on my serve and my return. That’s essential. That plays a major role in men’s tennis today. The first and the second serve have to be good with as few as possible unforced errors.
