On the first sunny day of the Srpska Open, Serbia\u2019s Davis Cup captain Viktor Troicki took the opportunity
\nto play padel with Dusan Lajovic and Marko Djokovic. Djordje Djokovic joined them soon and the central
\npart of the tennis complex suddenly became crowded because all visitors wanted to see how this
\nrelatively new sport game in our region looked like.
\nIn the last couple of years, padel has become the trending sport across the globe, with the number of
\npeople opting to play this racquet game increasing each day. Padel is a still relatively unknown sport fo
\nmany, but already so popular that new clubs are formed each month.
\nPadel is usually played in doubles on an enclosed court. The court is one third of the size of a tennis
\ncourt. The scoring and rules are very similar to tennis although padel balls are similar to tennis balls but
\nhave less internal pressure.
\nDusan Lajovic also mentioned padel at today\u2019s press conference. He praised Marko Djokovic and
\nunderlined that Marko was the best padel player of them all so it doesn\u2019t come as a surprise that
\nNovak\u2019s next opponent chose to partner with Marko Djokovic.
\nNot so far away, Miomir Kecmanovic and Cacic were playing the real doubles match and the spectators
\ndidn\u2019t really know which way to go.
\nIt was exciting both on both courts and this day at the Srpska Open tournament provided a lot of
