The first impression regarding the Srpska Open tournament of the majority of tennis players is the new appearance of the city of Banjaluka that looks fantastic despite a rainy couple of days.<\/p>\n
Miomir Kecmanovic has shared the same impression and used this opportunity to pay compliments to the organisers of the tournament.<\/p>\n
– Banjaluka looks fantastic. Everything is new and I\u2019m happy to be here. I believe that good tennis will be played at this tournament.<\/p>\n
Kecmanovic has not yet stepped onto the court and plans to do that later during the day.<\/p>\n
– I haven\u2019t practiced yet and I\u2019m yet to step onto the tennis court. Clay is slow, it is difficult, but it\u2019s something to be expected. We\u2019ll see how it goes. I just hope it doesn\u2019t rain.<\/p>\n
The draw has again gathered all Serbian players in the upper part.<\/p>\n
– To tell you the truth, I don\u2019t find that strange. Somehow, we always end up in the same part of the draw. This time I can take a step forward; I don\u2019t have to play against Novak Djokovic in the quarter-final, but in the semi-final. I plan to compete in Madrid and Rome after this tournament.<\/p>\n
Kecmanovic played both in the singles and the doubles in Estoril but did not lift any trophies.<\/p>\n
– I\u2019m satisfied with my season on clay. I play well. I\u2019m glad to be making better results on this surface as well and that I feel very confident. I want to continue in the same direction and play good tennis.<\/p>\n
In Monte Carlo, Miomir Kecmanovic lost to Lorenzo Musetti in the first round 7-6 (1), 6-0. The second set was especially painful for Kecmanovic (7:6,6:0).<\/p>\n
– What happened in Monte Carlo? I played a lot of matches, almost 11 matches, in five days. I was really exhausted back then.<\/p>\n
The doubles competition will also be interesting for Kecmanovic. His doubles partner at the Srpska Open will be Nikola Cacic.<\/p>\n
– Yes. I play in the doubles with Nikola Cacic. We play well together, but I \u2018m yet to see whether I\u2019ll have to be the one to \u201cbear the brunt\u201d of our doubles team again, Kecmanovic concluded.<\/p>\n
